This week, we had our first experience with speed mentoring as a group. During class, we presented our pitch to each mentor, explaining the problem we identified and the initial solution we developed. We had 20 minutes with each mentor, which included our presentation, their feedback, and, if time allowed, a few follow-up questions from us. The mentors who joined us were: Noa Green, Avi Inbar, Ron Leder, and Anat Binyamin.

All four mentors are active professionals in various product fields, and they provided us with focused and valuable feedback. They helped us identify areas to refine and even suggested changes to our approach.

After the meetings, our weekly task was to summarize the main feedback and decide what we want to implement in our project, what we’d like to implement but can’t and what we chose not to implement.

Some of the key ideas we decided to implement include:

  • Adjusting activities to fit the user’s budget.

  • Focusing more on creating a meaningful experience for the user.

  • Integrating the user’s personal calendar with the app.

  • Adding user feedback after activities to learn and improve for the future.

Once we reviewed the feedback and made decisions, we updated the 4 steps scenario we worked on last week to reflect the new features we plan to add.

The speed mentoring session was a truly valuable experience. It gave us new perspectives, helped us refine our ideas, and brought us closer to building a better product.
