Week 19 - Shooting Day & Final Touches: Bringing Grow Together to Life .

This week, we began filming initial scenes for the rough cut of our final project video. It was exciting to see how our concept, which had been evolving through weeks of research, discussion, and iteration, started to come to life on camera. The scenes we filmed reflect how we envision the final video and were created to receive approval before moving forward with full production.

The video follows the journey of a couple whose relationship slowly gets worn out by routine—not because the love is gone, but because life gets busy. Our app, Grow Together, offers a solution based on Self-Expansion Theory: the idea that couples strengthen their bond by sharing new experiences and stepping outside their comfort zone.

During this past week, we met as a team to revise the script and make adjustments based on feedback. One significant change was renaming the app from Better Together to Grow Together. The new name better reflects the core of our product and its emotional value, aligning more directly with the Self-Expansion Theory on which our concept is based.

It’s been amazing to watch our initial idea transform into a tangible, user-centered product—and we’re looking forward to sharing the final video soon.
