This week, we continued our user testing by testing our concept with additional users. The feedback we received helped us better understand our target audience and refine the way our product can truly support couples in a meaningful way.

One specific change we made, for example, was in the screen with the circles. We realized the text was unclear to users, so we rewrote it to be more intuitive. We also gave this feature a new name, since the original one didn’t feel like the right fit. Based on Noa Morag’s suggestion, we changed the color scheme of the circles—from random colors to a more meaningful palette that reflects each partner: blue for him and pink for her. We also decided to make all circles the same size, and use the blend of colors as an indication of how much the activity reflects both partners’ shared interests.

In addition, last week we presented our script to our instructor, Dr Noa Morag, and received valuable feedback. She noted that the opening felt too dramatic, and that the rest of the script leaned too heavily into marketing the idea rather than focusing on the actual experience. During class, and throughout the week, we worked on improving the script accordingly — toning down the dramatic opening and putting more emphasis on the emotional and experiential aspects of the story. We're now feeling confident about the updated version and looking forward to presenting it again.
