This week marked our first class back after the semester break – though to be honest, it didn’t really feel like a break. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been deep in our project: refining our scenario, defining design principles based on theory, expert input, and user feedback, and building out a low-fidelity version of our solution. We also ran a round of user testing to see how our initial flow held up in real life.

Coming into class, we felt like we had something solid to show – and we were genuinely excited to share it. The feedback we received from our mentors and classmates was both encouraging and eye-opening. It helped us realize that while we were on the right track in some ways, there were still some big questions we hadn’t fully answered. Were we framing the problem in the best way? Were we really addressing the core pain points? And most importantly – were we still solving the right problem?

So, we decided to pause and slightly shift direction. We’re planning to validate the idea again, this time with a more focused scenario and an updated version of the flow. At the same time, we’ve started exploring the technical side – how this solution might actually be implemented, what kind of system architecture it would require, and how it could function in practice.

It wasn’t the easiest class, but it was definitely the kind we needed – the kind that resets your thinking, sharpens your vision, and opens up new possibilities.
