Week 12 - End of semester

This week in the Milab program, we had the opportunity to make significant strides in understanding and developing our idea. We primarily focused on two main topics: understanding our Wizard of Oz and validating the value of the buildup. Each of these presented us with interesting and important challenges on our way to developing a more focused and accurate solution.

The first step was to deeply understand the concept of the Wizard of Oz. Through this model, we aim to create a more personalized and focused user experience, as well as understand the need for our value proposition. As part of the process, we conducted "small talks" with several couples to better understand their needs, desires, and challenges when it comes to planning date experiences.

Next, each team member created a WhatsApp group with the couples and began sending them buildup messages for their upcoming date. The tailored date was a home Italian cooking workshop — a choice that offered both unique experiences and an area where we could practically and experientially test our buildup ideas.

After sending the build-ups, we asked the couples to complete a questionnaire that we specifically designed for this purpose. The questionnaire was carefully crafted, with a focus on avoiding leading questions and providing a broad and in-depth view of the experiences we expected to receive. It was important for us that the questions would offer a wide range of perspectives so we could gather reliable and accurate data about the couples' experiences.

Additionally, we also spent time preparing for the presentation that will take place next week, where we will present our findings to the other students in the program. We will share the journey we've taken so far, the solutions we've considered, how we tested the ideas with the couples, and our initial conclusions from the tests and feedback we've received.

An exciting and productive week is behind us, and we’re looking forward to moving forward and continuing to develop!
